Dec 7, 2007: 2007 Student Academic Achievement Awards; A photo album of the undergraduate and graduate Student Academic Achievement Awards Ceremony, which took place on Nov. 21 at Oakham House.
Dec 5, 2007: Sri Krishnan Appointed Canada Research Chair; Sri Krishnan has been appointed Canada Research Chair in Biomedical Signal Analysis. The announcement was made on November 29, 2007 by Jim Prentice, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for the Canada Research Chairs Program.
Nov 12, 2007: Bob Greenwood, 1932–2007; Bob Greenwood, Professor Emeritus, Department of Electrical Engineering passed away on Sat. November 10th, 2007 at the age of 75. He started teaching at Ryerson in January 1969 and retired August 1997. He then became a part-time instructor for ELT182: Basic Theatre Electricity, from 1997 until 2003.
Nov 4, 2007: NSERC Industrial Research Chair Award Ceremony; The official ceremony to instate Bin Wu as NSERC Industrial Research Chair in Power Electronics took place on Nov. 2. Dr. Wu is one of the world leaders in the field of Power Electronics and is Ryerson's first Industrial Research Chair.
